AMA Supercross – Blog With Boost Girls
Hi everyone! Whew! What a weekend! Left for Dallas on Friday - and to my amazement the airport was JAM packed! After an hour delay and a PB&J "triangle" from the vending machine, I was off to Dallas!
I was lucky enough to get to meet and work with fellow Boost Babe Alexis Blackwell - we are both SoCal transplants! After crashing late Friday night - we woke up early Saturday and grubbed on some yummy breakfast, caught up on SportsCenter (cuz' you know - it's Final 4 time!) and headed out to the Texas Stadium. What a beautiful day for an event! There were so many people in town for NASCAR - but the Supercross fans still came out to see the races! We amped up the crowd and got people to sign up for our "50 @ 5" giveaway - the little kiddies are always so excited for this! "Mom - I want that bike! Sign me up pleeeaseee???" For some reason - about every 5 minutes we kept seeing people walk by with the best looking fried food - everything from nachos to funnel cakes to corn dogs! We got our taste buds to calm down by raiding the candy drawer in the Yamaha trailer - Apple and Lemon WARHEADS are the BEST!
Finally at 5 - we drew names and gave away the 50cc motorcycle as well as the autographed Von Zipper goggles and Von Zipper discount card. Everyone was stoked! Too bad we didn't get to stick around for the awesome BBQ they had cooking at our booth! We had to jet out of there fast to look for our confused car service driver and make our flights home to SoCal...haha!
Next up - Austin for Boost Mobile's NIGHTSHIFT! It is the 1st NightShift event of the year so we’re excited. Texas two weekends in a row! See y’all there!
