Boost Mobile FMX Tour Meets Snowball Express
Our FreestyleMX.com Tour supported families of fallen U.S. soldiers at the 2nd Annual Snowball Express last weekend at Oakley HQ in SoCal. The event is put on to help families whose loved ones lost their lives fighting the War on Terror. Nearly 2,000 visitors came together for an action-packed holiday extravaganza that included professional demos by skate, bmx, street bike and fmx riders. The Freestyle Motocross demo was the highlight of the day, as spectators crowded around Boost Mobile FMX ramps to watch Kenny Bell, Nicki Danielson and Derek Garland (pictured above and below) throw flares and back flips over the crowd.
Free swag, free food and free music—what more could you ask for? More entertainment? Well, Oakley created a cozy movie experience for kids with their super-spacious, kick-butt movie theatre (yes, Oakley has a movie theatre in their building!). Feature premieres included holiday feel-good movie The Polar Express and Ratatouille. Between this, photos with cartoon characters and tons of other fun stuff, Boost and the Snowball Express organization gave families something to smile about this holiday season.
